oh but before we get to that, has anyone read/heard of the book Fly By Night, by Frances Hardinge?

It's pretty epic.
I'm thinking of making it into a comic, Lackadaisy style because Lackadaisy is my inspiration.

I'll at least do the Proulouge: History for the Housefly cos' it's mostly dialogue and easy. :D



Anyway. I was going to say...That I was about to do a fifty word challenge to ease my boredom.

Theme 2, Set: Beta

01:Raito always walked with his head high and tilted to the sky, graceful and ahead of the others, but nobody noticed him falter his step and slow down to match L's pace, to want to walk alongside him instead of ahead.


02: Their battle was a dance - a waltz in which they tried to trip each other up while still looking utterly glamorous in the process, and match each other perfectly step for step, and when one of them faltered, the music stopped and the glass shattered.


o3: "I understand that this is an absurd waste of a wish, Light-kun, but while there are ... bigger things that I would like to share with you, alas; those wishes would never come true, so if Light-kun would so kindly share the birthday cake that he has bought for me, he'd taste something nearly as sweet as himself," L ended the sentence with a playful smirk, and the brunette in question flushed and smacked him with a spoon.


04: It was almost a feeling of awe that washed over him, when he saw L on the roof: ethereal, as if waiting for someone to spirit him away...but then he chided himself that although L was a wonder to him, but it didn't mean that he was wonderful.


05: Once L realized how much he'd single-handedly screwed up his future, he didn't worry anymore: all he felt was sheer determination to put Kira behind bars but once things mattered again, once someone meant something to him, the determination faltered and worry took it's place once more...


06: L took them up to the roof once, almost as if for a special occasion, and while Ratio enjoyed the fresh air L looked so conflicted and thoughtful that the teen had to ask what was on his mind only to have the detective open his mouth, speechless, and then turn away; 'Nothing, just a foolish whimsy.'

by the way I'm having an idea for a mega, mega songfic for LxLight.
Like, every single song I thought could go with the pairing, complied into a mushy mess of...songfic-ness...

But I'm torn between making it a multichaptered kind of thing or splitting it into drabbles
